### General Navigation The Grid Builder extension consists of two tabs: * Grid Builder * Proximity *** ### Target Grid The "Target Grid" dropdown will show you all the available grids within your active composition.\ The refresh button next to it lets you rescan the active composition for any created grids. *** ### + Add Proximity Group Creates a new Proximity Group and attaches it to the selected grid. A pseudo effect will be applied to the control null. *** ### Active Proximity "Active Proximity" has the same mechanic as the "Target Grid" dropdown. It shows all available Proximity Groups that exist on the selected grid in "Target Grid" The delete button next to it deletes the current selected Proximity Group. *** ### Effector Management Underneath the "Active Proximity" dropdown is the section that shows you all the existing effectors within the selected Proximity Group. You can easily delete them by clicking the "X" on each layer. *** ### Add Effector Simply add an additional effector to the selected Proximity Group in "Active Proximity" *** ### Link Custom Properties The button, that enhances Grid Builder Proximity from basic to advanced. This button will open up a selection window, in which you can link custom properties.\ [More on this here.](/gridbuilder/documentation/proximity/custom-properties.md#how-it-works) *** ### Custom Properties Management At the very bottom, you have a dropdown to manage all created custom property links. They are named accordingly and lets you easily remove them if needed.\ The delete button next to it deletes the current selected custom property.
